Some decisions out!

^All this is making me nervous!! I so badly want an admission decision!!

I applied at the end of November!!

But wait – maybe I won’t get my decision quickly – because I am an International student??

Anyway CONGRATULATIONS to you all those accepted. Can’t say that I hope to see you all next year though!! :/

Nice job everyone!

I haven’t heard anything yet  I applied RD accelerated degree in Communications for Global Journalism and that was in November with the VIP app.

My son was accepted to the PA program. Not sure about the $$ still checking online. We are in MA. He had 29 ACT lots of EC, sports and clubs. 3.5 GPA. FA will dictate where he goes.

Yes, you are correct. It is renewable. Also, early Fafsa will get you $1000 for the first year and the dragon alumni will give you an additional $1000/yr for each of 4 or 5 yrs. Just get a recommendation from a Drexel alumni (they will find one for you if you don’t know one). [Connect with Alumni | Undergraduate Admissions | Drexel University](http://www.drexel.edu/undergrad/contact/ask-an-alum/)

Isn’t too late for the Drexel alumni recommendation? It looks like it was due January 15th.

Our son was also accepted a couple of days ago - biomedical engineering with Pennoni Honors and $25k AJ Drexel scholarship. Stats: 2260 SAT, 800 SAT2s in Biology, Math2 and US History, 4.0 unweighted/4.81 weighted GPA, 1st out of 305 in his class, 5s on all APs taken (CalcBC, Biology, US History, Euro History, Spanish, Eng Lang).

I was accepted into Drexel Honors with a 18.5 k aj drexel scholarship. 3.7 GPA at #1 HS in NJ, 32 ACT and great E/C (strong point of app.). I cannot attend also unless I get at least 20k in financial aid as well so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Also a candidate for their BS/MD program and if I get in that will really make choosing college a lot easier :D

My D also got her Drexel acceptance today! Her major is “still-deciding” in Drexel’s Westphal College of Media arts and Design. Also got good scholarship $$ as a Drexel Scholar!

From New York, applied via common app on 10/24 and all materials were received by 11/2.

Applied to the college of engineering. I thought my stats were good enough for honors and a good scholarship, but we’ll see. People on this thread have lower stats than me and applied later, so I have no idea how they’re notifying people.

Still waiting…

I’m still waiting too, the notifications seem to be completely random and unrelated to area, admission status, application date, honors program, scholarships, and last name :P

Drexel is one of my safe schools and now i’m getting nervous because I’m not hearing back early like everyone else… does anyone know when they are planning on releasing the rest of the decisions??

No, it isn’t too late to apply. My daughter is currently a freshman. She didn’t receive her acceptance until Feb. 2012. She accepted in April 2012 and applied for the Dragon Alumni long after that, and received it.

@esm54321 - Haha!! We are in the same boat!! I wrote them a mail in early january and I got a reply that ALL decisions will be announced BY the end of March. So no definite date as such!!

Well, they’re probably testing our patience?? :p

I got accepted!!

Still nothing…

What should I be looking for? An email?

email first and then a big packet came about 3 days later with Drexel postcards to send to friends and family announcing your decision! (very clever) :}

Are they still releasing decisions??
Was anyone accepted today/yesterday?

With a few exceptions, it looks like they’re going alphabetically by major/school.

Acceptances (or the ones posted in this thread at least) have slowed down in the past 4 or so days so I’m guessing the first round of decisions is over. Hopefully the next bunch go out late this week or sometime this weekend. Drexel isn’t even one of my top choices but the fact that a lot of people have their decision already and I don’t bothers me. :/
