<p>English 5w or 100w w/ Steinberg. I had EngComp 3 with him and it was the easiest class in the world.</p>

<p>Because writing classes at UCLA are so small and there are so many professors, there is no “certain” easy writing classes. For most courses, the difficulty is really dependent on the professor. Ask your friends for recommendations.</p>
<p>I took Jerusalem the Holy City with Smoak and it was a great class. I found the subject fascinating and the class itself wasn’t hard. One 4-page paper, one 6-page paper, an 8-page research paper and a final worth 20% of the grade. My TA literally walked us through the papers and Smoak gave us a study sheet with the stuff that was going to be on the final. Definitely one of the best classes I’ve taken at UCLA.</p>
