What about Boston College?

Duke decline by 20%. 39.1 admit rate.

:-( It sucks to be a part of that measly 306.

^^Sorry man. Good luck with other colleges.

According to this thread on the Wesleyan CC Forum, the numbers may be even higher than the original Argus article indicated, i.e., a 16% increase in applications, from 364 last year to 421 this year:
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=270397%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=270397</a><br>
Possible factors could be Wesleyan's inclusion among the top ten LACs in this year's USNews poll, renewed interest in slightly larger LACs like Colgate, Oberlin and Wesleyan and a vigorous Connecticut economy that has had an extreme make-over effect on downtown Middletown.

hmm... if a lot of other kids are applying shouldn't the ED applications have gone up??
From my personal perspctive, ED is not such a good idea for most kids worried about the college costs. Instead, average applications per kid may be higher this year so that chances of getting in 'somewhere' improve.

does anyone know the stats for Cornell?

Holy Cross?
