Some ED Questions

I recently sent in my Cornell application early decision and I had a few questions about it....

A) Does anybody know how the applications are reviewed. (i.e. how many people view them, is it by a committee)

B) How many people apply early decision to each school?

C) What percentage of the class is filled through early decision applicants?

D) Does applying early decision help your chances? (I know a higher percentage of people are admitted but many people have told me that the applicant pool is significantly stronger)

E) What percentage get deferred to regular decision and what percentage get rejected outright?

Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated

C)No more than 33%
D)Yes. Cornell acknowledges a slightly weaker ED pool. Strong interest in school is what helps.

Thanks for your help hopeful, anybody care to take a stab at the other questions?

i think last year only like 4ööö out of 24ööö applications were ED, and about 16öö were accepted early... hope that helps
