Oh, GO BEARS!

Grrr, my profs and GSIs are taking so long, but it's understandable. And frustrating. Oh, well. I've done well so far. How about you other people?

Ah, the waiting game. Slow slow slow.

Do they update grades on the weekends too?

pretty good so far, just waiting on math...

I had all my grades on the 20th. just acceptable.

My GPA really needs some improvement. Even though I spent all my weekends studying instead of partying...

Just a simple question....when u look in bearfacts under "final grade".....is that the grade for your final exam or the final grade for the course? Thanks!

It should be final grade for the course, or else they must have had a "course's final grade" option. Furthermore, I see P in my pass/notpass class, so it must be final.
It's cool if they would let us see our finals' grades, though. Sometimes, it's hard to guess if you're in a clear-cut position before final.

Don't get discouraged if grades are "Acceptable" or not up to your standards/expectations. The first semester is always the hardest. It gets easier here on out.

andrewtdx.....i sure hope so..........

"It gets easier here on out."

I've heard nothing but the contrary...

andrew...Your first semester is one of the easiest semesters, if not THE easiest.

Zip: Actually, I worked harder my first semester than any subsequent semester. I worked a lot less for the same grades (roughly 3.5) last year than I did the year before. The work might get harder, but you get better at it. It's a relative thing. Remember, there are never any black and white things in this world. Yes, your coursework gets harder, but you get more prepared and it becomes easier and you can do it quicker. Therefore, it becomes "easier."

Keep in mind, this is also coming from a fourth year whose been through the hoops a lot more than other people. Cal is easy, once you figure out the system. (AKA, DON'T CRAM!)
