Some give me a pep talk, please?

So I have an interview for a school today, and yesterday I had one that I totally bombed. I have perfect grades and a gazillion ec's and awards that I forgot to mention yesterday. $#*$%!! If you're confused read this thread (particularly Posts 16 and 22):

Thank you.

i have peppermints, no pep talk, you failed the interview miserably, say goodbye to your future kid

No thanks.

is this for the same school?

i wouldn't worry about it too much. i mean, the admissions officers are going to care way more about what you've done in 4 years than one hour. just think about it-the application has got to carry tons of weight compared to a measly interview

No, it's for a different school. I'm going in a few hours.

P.S. This isn't for college, it's for private high schools. They're very selective/competitive, so I have a reason to be worried. Not that I want to worry.

well anyway, everything I've heard says that the interview doesn't mean too much in the long run. So just relax about it and get to know the school a little better through this. Think of it as you interviewing them. They should be nervous.

Oh I forgot how old you were....

I'm not so sure about hs interviews... but, it's not actually a big deal if you don't get in (public schools are bad, but if you stay strong you can get a taste of the real world). Don't let your nerves take control, then you speak without thinking. The best way to prevent this is to know that soon this moment will be over and you'll be back having a good time doing whatever.
