Some Good State Schools for Computer Science

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>Does anyone have any knowledgeable input on the relative superiority of either school in terms of quality of undergraduate computer science education, general ties to the software industry, research opportunities, and prestige in that field:</p>

<p>University of Maryland - College Park
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor</p>

<p>Maryland is ranked higher in terms of CS, but UMAA is ranked much higher in terms of the overall quality of the school (U.S. News & World - somewhat biased, I know).</p>
