SUNY Binghamton
Bucknell University
Cornell University (School of Ag. and Life Sciences, corresponds closely to scientific research)
Univ. of Delaware
Villanova University
University of Maryland-College Park (EA)
Tulane University (EA)
Virginia Tech
UVA

Thanks!!!!!

You want a good research Uni, don’t you?

Some suggestions:

U Rochester
Case Western
Purdue
Texas A & M
Kettering
Ill. Ins. of Tech
Stevens
NYU-Poly
GA Tech
U Florida
Tulane

Clemson University!

thanks alot for the ideas, ill definitely look into those schools
I already applied at tulane, it is one of my number one choices if i can get the money somehow to afford it
Id mostly like to stay on the east coast though, do you have any speculations on if I would be accepted to the schools that I listed in my original post?
thanks again

I will say apply to Purdue. GREAT research and you will LOVE the school. Alot of east coast and west coast kids go there too now.

Check out Stony Brook in addition to Bing.

I think your chances are good, but not great, despite your fine record, as many of these are very tough schools. Perhaps add a safety or two? Given your biomass project, have you looked at Environmental Studies programs?

It’s a pretty good list. Your stats might be low for UVA out of state and U Maryland out of state. Case Western is a good idea and gives lots of money. I agree that Stony Brook is a good idea. Look at UMBC- it has smaller classes than College Park, is easier to get into, and pushes research for undergrads more. Worchester Polytech may work for you- they emphasize projects and research, give lots of money, are ranked high, and yet they can accept most students who are qualified to go.

is Maryland CP really that hard to get into OOS? I knew UVA is really competitive but that gets me a little worried because i considered it one of my matches!
And I’m not specifically geared toward a heavy research oriented university, but Purdue does look very nice
Thanks for all the suggestions
keep 'em coming!!!
