O man I am in the same boat, I have no idea what I'm doing, or what courses to take, or anything. And my advisor has not responded to my e-mails.

check on mcgill's page for it's medical faculty. Last time I checked u needed a full year ( 2 semesters) of bio, chem (and organic) physics courses

and u need a minimum gpa of 3.5! which is the killing point!

flo21...i feel your pain man! i guess course selection for us is trickier than usual...and I still have no clue as to what courses to pick..i still don't think i have a full hang on how the whole system works. Just mailed Maria Gabriel the Arts and Science advisor my course approval form with a whole bunch of courses i'm not sure i even need.

Will keep you guys posted when she replies

depending on which med school ur going to apply to, u have to take courses in humanities, social sciences, art, etc. sometimes. my advisor said that basically any major in faculty of science meets the requirements for med school. but if ur hoping to apply to american med schools, then u need to be thinking about having a more liberal arts education.

has anyone heard from the arts and science advisor yet about the problem? She still hasn't replied...arghhhh!
