<p>I love this idea, although I don’t wish to add myself to a premature accepted list. However, I think it is enormously valuable for all of us and our respective psyches, to publicly and confidently state the reasons why Harvard “will” accept us. If I am so lucky to be accepted, I believe it will ultimately be because of my academic credentials (GPA, test scores) along with my essay. If I receive an unfavorable admissions decision, it will likely be due to my ECs. They are adequate, but there is nothing that is truly “spectacular”, at least not for a University like Harvard.</p>

<p>You got accepted to Oxford, which is like the second, or arguably the best university in the world. Why even bother yourself with other schools now…?</p>

<p>All I’d like to say is that now that I know I was rejected my reaction is the same as it would have been, but having true hope made the leading days so much better. I don’t at all regret “Some Hearty Bluster”.</p>

<p>Oh well, I suspect it may have been for the best. I was having a hard time picturing myself there.
At least I was deferred from EA, so I know that I had something worthwhile to them. :)</p>
