Hey, I originally posted in the business section but thought you all might be able to help. I was pretty set on a service academy but a number of things are making that option look unrealistic (mainly medical). Now I'm struggling to find some schools that fit my stats and interests. I'm looking to work in or about the Middle East, maybe in step with the Army in some way. I like languages, so Arabic is an option, I'm just not sure where to begin or what kind of a career I could make out of that. Any ideas regarding my options would be appreciated!
Stats:
Middle-class suburban high school
SATs: 740 Reading, 660 Math, 800 writing (2200 first time)

Rank: ~10/~450
Classes: Honors and APs (5 on Govt this year)
Extra:
Editor school paper two years
VP Student Council Junior year (hopefully President this year)
Mock Trial 4 years
NHS

Volunteer at a hospital 200+ hours
West Point Summer Leaders Seminar and Girls State
*Obviously I need to present myself in some way that shows my interests, but I'd be thankful for any help.

A suggested major aside from Arabic could be Middle Eastern Studies. What parts of the U.S. would you like to go to college? Are you looking to continue track competitively as well? Those are other factors you might want to consider when choosing school. In addition, you seem to like government/leadership activities, you might want to consider peace/conflict resolution studies or International Relations with a focus on the Middle Eastern region.

Some suggestions of colleges to look into perhaps:
Dartmouth, Fordham U, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, New York U, Princeton, UCLA, U Chicago
