Some Interesting Questions to Ponder While Waiting for Our Admissions Decisions

Why does our universe exist with the set of laws that it does? Why not some other set of laws? For instance, why do electrons have the charge that they do instead of having some other arbitrary charge?

Could there be other parallel (or possibly intersecting or skew) universes?

Why does our universe exist at all? Why something rather than nothing? It would seem a universe consisting of nothingness would be simpler and more logical than something.
