Some last minute help needed...

I'll be a college freshmen next year at either Wayne State or Western Michigan University.
I'm still making a last minute decision... and need to decide. Quickly.</p>

<p>I want to transfer after the first year at either.
Any idea which would look better to a school as far as transfers go...
Or does it not really matter?</p>

<p>Also...
Assuming I don't know what I want to major in at this point in time... is there any general advice as to what courses I should take?
Or should I just address that towards the prospective transfer schools?</p>

<p>If you want to transfer, go wherever you think you can do better. For transfer students, GPA is everything.</p>

<p>As for course selection, that should be directed towards the schools you are looking to transfer into.</p>

<p>Although you don't know what you want to major in, if you have any direction at all, it might help us with thoughts on ideal course selection.</p>

<p>Have you ruled out any fields? Have any leanings? It's a rare person who's leaning equally toward, say, Engineering or Art History. So if you have any leanings toward or away from certain areas, it would be good to know.</p>
