Some more questions on different topic-Worried Junior

Ok so on my quest to roughly figure out my chances, I want to ask a question to the people that have been accepted.

How many years of which classes did you take before your senior year? So I know on NYU's website they say that they expect 2-3 years of a foreign language, 4 years of English, 3-4 years of mathematics and 3-4 years of science.

Has anyone been accepted with just these number of years?By how much did you surpass what they have on their website?Have you been accepted without meeting a certain part of these years listed? I.E 2 years of a foreign language instead of 3 or 4.

3 years of foreign language (French, but I already knew Chinese)
4 years of English
3 years of math (but that's because I skipped prealgebra way back when, so I finished the highest level offered at my school - AP Calc - junior year)
4 years of science (but actually 6 full-year courses)

By the end of my junior year:

4 years of Spanish (3 years of Spanish and 1 in French at the same time)
3 years of English
3 years of math
3.5 years of science (AP Chem was a 1.5 credit course)
3.5 years of social studies

By the end of this year:

5 years of foreign language
4 years of English
4.5 years of math (Calc was 1.5)
5 years of science (Physics was 1.5)
4.5 years of social studies

I would think that having those required courses would boost your chances considerably, but I think those count your projected senior year as well.

Thanks for replys, appreciated. Anyone else?

4 years of foreign language ( well.. 6 haha.. but 4 in high school)
4 years of english
3 years of math (advanced) and took a college course for senior year (1 semester)
4 years of science
4 years of social science

How about SAT/SAT subject test scores if you guys and gals don't mind.

5 years of English (I took 9th grade English I in 8th grade)-1 AP, 3 Honors
4 years of Math (I only took through Pre-Cal though, I hate math)-no AP
3 years of Social Studies-2 AP
4 years of Science-1 AP
5 years of Spanish (Spanish I in 8th grade)-1 AP, 3 honors
3 years of Performing Arts (but in total 10 full year courses in dance, vocal music, and acting from two performing arts high schools)
3 years of Theology

SAT-2100
ACT-28
GPA Weighted: 4.28
GPA Unweighted: 3.71 or 3.68, I can't remember.
I was accepted to Tisch Drama RD with $34000 in renewable scholarships for academics/artistry/need, as well as other money like federal aid and National Merit/Achievement scholarship. Yay!

Generally they suggest you take more than their minimum requirements, so if you take 4 years each of "the core": English, Math, Science, Social Studies/History, and Foreign Language, as well as various electives, with good grades, you'll be really competitive for admission.

4 years of English
4 years of Math
4 years of History
I took at least one foreign language class every year, with two of the four years having two language classes.
I took at least one science class every year, with one of the four years having two science classes.

I can't, however, call my schedule "rigorous." I took a total of two honors classes and three AP classes.

Good luck!

Wow thanks for all the posts guys and gals, So all of you got in right? your not just applying.
