<p>I am trying to find some books to read about college admission. I found some books that have better reviews from readers such as Acing the college application, but they are all very old and I guess many of the case they talk about in the books will not fit the increasingly competitive college admission race. </p>
<p>Are there any new books on college admission process/essay books you would recommend? Thanks a lot.</p>
<p>What books have you seen so far? “Essays that Worked” by Curry & Kasbar was a nice book that I used. What helped me the most, however, was “On Writing Well” by William Zinsser. It’s not a book about college essays, but it is about writing better in general.</p>
