some odd advice needed

I've asked this before, but never really gotten any good advice. Sorry if I'm being annoying.

So I'm a senior in high school who wants to take the SAT again (WHAT!? hehe). I've already taken it twice before, not studying either time and getting around 1800 total (~600 each). I've turned over a new leaf and am trying to patch all of the slacking that I've done. I want to study and take the SAT again for a few reasons. I've already started studying.

Reasons:
1. I want to have done my best and not regret slacking for SAT.
2. I want to have a decent SAT score if I decide to transfer during college, which might be likely because I don't feel my high school record reflects my ability/current ambition.
3. I believe some of the skills the SAT builds are valuable.
4. If I'm waitlisted somewhere maybe they'll consider recent test scores.

Valid reasons?

So in order for my SAT to mean anything, I'll have to take it before I finish high school in June (correct?). There are three test dates until then:

March 14
May 2
June 6

I'm currently registered for the March SAT, but I don't think that will give me sufficient time to practice, even if I've already started. With the new score choice in mind, should I just take it in March anyway (I realize some schools will want all anyway if I decide to transfer)? Would taking it in March and May or March and June for a total of four times be bad? When will scores be released for the March or May test (so I'll know if I need to take again)? Also, if I'm scheduled for March can I like reschedule to May without paying anything? Any other advice? Goal is => 700 each section.

THANKS!!

Sigh... spend some time on the College Board site

SAT Scores - View SAT Scores - Send Score Reports tells when scores will be released.

SAT Fees tells fees for changes

you can start by getting off the forums and opening up your BB. Remember: "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"

or in this case... "a journey of 16 BB Practice tests begins with a single question"

er... that didn't work so well :P
