Some of the classes that are considered Visual and Performing Arts class

I'm trying to get into schools in the system of University of California. They said that you are required to take a year of Visual and Performing Arts class. I'm a student from Georgia and my school offers just art class(the course is just named art) and a piano class(just named piano 1). Would these classes be a Visual and Performing Arts classes?

On the page it states:
F) Visual and performing arts

UC-approved high school courses

One yearlong course of visual and performing arts chosen from the following: dance, drama/theater, music or visual art
AP or IB Examination

Score of 3, 4 or 5 on the AP History of Art, Studio Art or Music Theory Exam;
score of 5, 6 or 7 on any one IB HL exam in Dance, Film, Music, Theatre Arts or Visual Arts
College courses

Grade of C or better in any transferable course of 3 semester (4 quarter) units that clearly falls within one of four visual/performing arts disciplines: dance, drama/theater, music or visual art

So I was wondering if the piano class is a music art class or not and would art class be considered as Visual Arts class since my school doesn't offer painting class or any other classes.

Piano class is music (it’s a performing art, too), and painting is a visual art (as opposed to music, which is aural) so you’re fine. :)

Oops, misread. Art class will be a visual art. My bad!
