Some one give me an idea

Tufts and cornell are my hopefuls... i know the chances are slim.... but could someone tell me just how slim... (like no way in hell... maybe... depends...)

or without a chance?

time 1 time 2
Math 550 690
Verbal 570 610
Writing 630 660

I went up a lot... i choked my first time.

i have like mid 90's average, probably top 25% (my fresh year grades are bad but jr. and soph make up for that)

extras

Spent a summer living on rutgers college campus doing tikkun olam volunteering in a special needs camp and an inner city camp

lobbied at congress for gay rights

starting a darfur awareness club at school

all honors and AP courses

part of the drama society, chess club, writers club

Hold an office position in a north-American-federation-of-temple-youth Regional board.

do therapeutic horse back riding for the disabled every Sunday

am an active member of my town 4 h club

since i wanna be pre vet.. it may help that i spent all the rest of my time at a barn

i play violin.. and have all 4 years of HS

i know the SATs aren't stellar... but...

Almost no chance at Cornell.
Slightly better but still slim chances at Tufts.

There are plenty of other good schools besides the Ivies.

Your SATs are a bit low... is it possible to do more prep and get em up?

If you do manage that, I think it might be worth applying to those schools. Emphasize your commitment to animals... Your experience (like what you do in the barn and 4-H) would be a great hook.

thanks for the advice both.
