Hello ,
I just got done with my high school , didnt really get into the university of my choice as I had a very bad SAT 1 score ( previous pattern ) . I got a 1210 ( 650 M 560V) . And also had a 770 in SAT Math 2c .Now I'll be taking the new SAT in Oct and am clueless as to how to prepare for it . Someone please list down some books , I have the entire summer so I can use quite a few books . Definately capabale of improving in maths ( didnt really manage time the last time ) , but how do I improve verbal in time for October . Thanks Folks !!!

I recommend three books:
1.) Grammatix (for CR section and Writing M/Cs)
2.) Rocket Review (for SAT essay and SAT Math section)
3.) Collegeboard's SAT blue book

Also try to get Sparknotes 1000 SAT words list and memorize any words you dont know on the list.

Finally, please go through this forum and search for the xiggi method. You should use his method for practicing SAT exams.

For your reference: The "Xiggi method"

THanks a lot for the replies.
But I`m not from the US and I couldnt find the books you listed. However I just got my hands on the Barron's book. Is it any good ?? And does learning all the words from Word Smart 1 and 2 help on the new SAT ????

Barrons isnt good at all for the New SAT. Word Smart can be helpful. You can get grammatix online at www.grammatix.com, or Rocket Rewiew from www.amazon.com.

What country are you located in? You can probably find most of the book online at your country's Amazon.com or other online bookseller. The one book that you absolutely need to get is the Collegeboard's book, The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT /u

You can read the SparkNotes New SAT book for free online.
