Some popular hard/medium/easy APs in your opinion?

Hard:
Physics C
Chem

Med:
Art History
English Lang/Lit
Bio
Environmental Science
Gov

Easy:
Calc AB/BC
World/Euro History
US History (i know i'll get some disagreements here)

Any other opinions?

Easy:
AP Art History
AP Psyc

lumping all the ones i've taken into two categories:

Easy:
Calc AB/BC (if you know the material, you don't have to study)
Physics C (you learn practically the same material in physics B, except you only study mechanics and e&m. so basically it's like half the material you learn in B. granted, I took it after B, so I have skewed perceptions.)
Chem (this is easy with proper intuition).

Hard:
English (this was the only one I got a 4 on. i had to rate it a "hard")
Biology (memorization)
Stats (have to learn to nitpick)
US Gov/Comp Gov (this might not belong in the "hard" bin, actually)
Physics B (goes way too fast)

Do you mean by the class or by the test? I'm doing this by the test:

AP Test Difficulties for the General Population:

** Easy: **

AP European History
AP Statistics
AP Government
AP Chemistry
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
Calculus AB
AP Enviornmental Science
AP World History

Medium:

AP United States History
BC Calculus
AP Physics B
English Language
English Literature
AP Biology
AP Comparative Government and Politics

Hard:

AP Art History
AP Physics C
Most AP Languages (German, Spanish, Latin, Chinese, French, etc.)

Out of the ones I've taken or will take this year:

Easy:
AP Biology
AP Statistics
AP US Government

Medium:
AP US History

I don't know how to rate it based on the test, but at my school, this is how it usually goes:

Easy: US Gov, Stats, Psych

Medium: Calc AB, Bio, US, English (hard test, but easy class)

Hard: Physics, Calc BC, Chem, Euro, Lit, Music Theory, Languages

Based on my experiences.

Easy:
U.S. Government
Psychology
Calculus AB
Human Geography
English Language

Medium:
U.S. History
Physics B

Hard:
Microeconomics

My opinion:

Easy:

AP European History
AP Statistics
AP Government
AP Comparative Government and Politics
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
Calculus AB
AP Enviornmental Science
AP World History
AP Art History

Medium:

AP Chemistry
AP United States History
BC Calculus
AP Physics B
English Language
English Literature
AP Biology

Hard:

AP Physics C
Most AP Languages (German, Spanish, Latin, Chinese, French, etc.)

where would you all rate the music theory test? the class has been fairly easy so far (but it's also just an intro class, not the real AP part, plus the teacher's been in the hospital for the past week).

The AP Chem class at my school is so ridiculously hard that, out of 60 or so students taking the class every year, only one does not get a 5 on the AP test. People have been known to get C's in the class and 5s on the AP test.

Easy:
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
AP Environmental Sci.
AP Government
AP Statistics

Medium:
AP US History
AP Biology
AP English Lit./Lang
AP Calculus AB/BC
AP Computer Science
AP Physics B

Hard:
AP Physics C
AP Foreign Language (near impossible to get a 5...lol)
AP Chemistry (very difficult exam, from what I hear)

SUPER HARD????:

AP Life (nobody wins)

From my experience/what past seniors have told me...

Easy:
Chem
APUSH

Medium:
Envi Sci (don't laugh... this was my hardest AP test. Maybe I should have studied?)
Bio
Calc

Hard:
Physics C
Foreign Language
English

Of course, it depends on the person. The only thing that everyone seems to agree on is that the foreign language and Physics C tests are the most difficult.

My classes:

Medium:
Chem (100% pass rate last year, many 5s)

Easy:
World (Class is easy; going to be hard to study for test, as we are skipping chapters and learning nil)
Bio (I'm afraid that we aren't learning fast enough, we've only done 7/50 chapters..)

Music Theory is pretty hard tbh.

Intro Music Theory is very easy but once you get into the higher level crap its difficult.

Easy:
AP Studio Art (although it totally depends on the student)

I think AP World History is hard although I am only a freshman and this my 1st AP lol.

Isn't it depending on the teacher? It's different for every school.

I second Mishiru.........a lot depends on what teacher you have or more than that, what kinda school you go to.........there are schools where the bi weekly or monthly tests are far more harder than the AP Test (which defnitely guarantee you a 5) and then there are classes where you hardly learn anything and have to pretty much self study and work hard for one of the 'easy' APs mentioned here to get a 5.

Every AP is cake to me.

Opinion for mine:

EASY: none
MEDIUM: AP US Govt.
AP French
HARD: AP Chemistry
