Maybe all these questions have already been answered somewhere on the interweb, but it would be appreciated if someone answers them again, anyway.

Would my chances increase if I give more than 2 subject tests? What about 5? I am thinking about Chemistry, Physics, Math I, Math II and Biology. Will Math I and Math II count as two subjects?

Do students usually have to take more than one subject test on a single day? Does it depend on the location (I'm from India)? If you want to give each test on a separate day, do you have to wait another two months?

Thanks!

Another question

What if I take the subject tests long before actually applying? (an year and a half earlier, say)? Does it make a difference?

Yes, if you can, it is best to take as many subject tests as possible, so you can choose the ones with the best scores to send to colleges (and if they all have good scores, that increases your chances too). However, don’t take math 1 and math 2, they don’t both count. You can take from 1 to 3 tests on a single day. It does not depend on the location. If you decide to take only 1 test on one day, you have to wait until the next testing date, (in a couple months).
It doesn’t really matter when you take them, as long as it is some time before applying.
