Some questions about UAH Undergrad Admissions

Hi, I am an international student looking to
apply for fall 2016. My Questions:

  1. Are SAT and GPA the only criteria for Admission?
  2. If I apply before Dec 1st 2015. When can expect to receive a decision?
  3. And if I get accepted and fall under a low scholarship bracket. Will you accept the new SAT from March 2016 to increase my scholarship?
  4. What is UAH's policy on the new SAT?

Thanks!

Hello @androiddev

  1. Are SAT and GPA the only criteria for Admission? Yes, UAH Undergraduate International Admissions holds a minimum requirement of 970 SAT (writing excluded) and a 2.9 GPA from high school.
  2. If I apply before Dec 1st 2015. When can expect to receive a decision? Admissions decisions are made on a continuous basis. So, once International Admissions receives all required documentation to complete your file, an admissions decision will be mailed to you within 7 - 14 business days.
  3. And if I get accepted and fall under a low scholarship bracket. Will you accept the new SAT from March 2016 to increase my scholarship? SAT scores are reviewed and processed until August 1st, a few weeks before classes start. If you are looking to enroll for Fall 2016, UAH will accept your SAT scores until August 1st, 2016. If your increased score is reported to UAH and it moves you to a higher scholarship percentage, you will immediately be mailed a new scholarship letter with increased offer amount.
  4. What is UAH's policy on the new SAT? As of now, UAH International Admissions operated on the current SAT scale. Once a new SAT score scale is announced, UAH will amend their policy accordingly and it will be posted online: www.uah.edu/admissions.
