I just talked to the admissions office. I was told there would be about 100 students doing the overnight and an admissions officer will be with them the whole time to give them the best description of what their experience will be like at Scripps. They will be broken up into 3 groups and eat together, tour together and hear a little more about what the next day will be like. They are trying to be as respectful of the current students as they are grieving and can’t promise how much time the prospective students will have with current students. I felt like the admissions counselor I spoke with was honest and handling it well. The overnight students will at least be able to get to know each other and see what a strong passionate group the current students are.
