some questions on why caltech essay

<p>Here's the question.
"What is it about Caltech’s opportunities and resources that will best fuel your intellectual curiosity and develop your passion for science, technology, math or engineering? "</p>

<p>I am planning on start w/ my interest on math and nature science, the question is about why choose caltech, but should I focus on my passion and curiosity mainly or describe more things about caltech itself in order to show 'fit'? </p>

<p>I feel caltech is soooo good but I don't actually have things to write about it. I mean I like the atmosphere, academic and everything there. it's just boring to enumerate the research opportunities.</p>

<p>I would think it’s better to write more about you and your interests rather than flattering them with details about their school that they already know. You have something new and unique that you can offer them, whereas they’ve likely heard about how great their school is millions of times before. You can try to use very specific examples of something that Caltech offers that would help you further your education and then use those examples to elaborate on your interests. That’s just my opinion :)</p>
