Some questions regarding my UC application

I’m currently a high school student attending school in BC, Canada, and I have a few questions regarding my UC application:

  1. In my high school, from grades 8-10 the mandatory mathematics course was simply called Math 8, Math 9, etc. and I'm not sure what to select from the drop-down menu when self reporting my grades. Would Mathematics I, Mathematics II, and Mathematics III be appropriate? Also, would it be appropriate to enter my Pre-Calculus 11 course as "Advanced Math"? https://gyazo.com/e162063e46942fb454855b6b24d08f71
  2. This is common knowledge among colleges/universities in Canada, but I'm not sure whether the UC's are aware of the BC teacher's strike that took place in 2014. These strikes resulted in a number of courses in my grade 9 year not having an official grade, and show up on my record as "NM," or "not marked." However, there is no option for this in the drop-down menu, and the form does not allow me to add English 9 as a course without reporting my final grade (which as I mentioned previously, is non-existent). https://gyazo.com/38a075d6af1d5db74c1942bc3076a7f9 Is there a way for me to work around this or explain the situation with the strike in my application?
  3. In my school, French 8 is mandatory, but all the French courses in subsequent grades are optional. I took French through grades 8-12, but I am not sure whether to self report my grades for these courses as "Yr 1, Yr 2, etc. Lang Other Than English" or "Elective - Language Other Than English," which are the only options in the drop-down menu that make sense to choose. https://gyazo.com/1965b5bf52c95c61aea22f20ddf15276

Since the deadline for my application is fast approaching, it would be great if my questions were answered soon!
Thank you in advance!

I would contact UC admissions directly to help answer your questions.
