Some REAL info. regarding Pepperdine Admission Notifications!

Hi all, I know everyone is super anxious and excited about finding out if they have been admitted and “how” you will be notified. We have first hand knowledge because my daughter is a current student at Pepperdine and we went through EXACTLY what you all are going through. So I thought I would post this as a way to maybe help those who are waiting anxiously…for the past 4 consecutive years this is EXACTLY how Pepperdine notifies the applicants. I know it says that you will be notified by April 1st but for the past 4 years they have sent out an email on March 17th or 18th at 5pm. You WILL be notified by email FIRST...then by paper mail by April 1st with your financial aid package if admitted.
My daughter received her admission email last year on the 18th, but she did not receive her email until 5pm.....so don't worry...the email is coming....Trust God applicant's, He has a plan for your life!

I went back and looked at the actual email my daughter received from Pepperdine on March 18th. (she "forwarded" it to her proud mom )

The subject line of the email...

"Seaver College Admission Decision"

So you have to open that email for the admission decision!

Good Luck to all, I know this is a very exciting, stressful and anxious time for all you college applicant's, just remember "All things work together for a purpose".
God has a master plan for your life.
Trust Him.

ps...Pepperdine is a wonderful school and the students love it there!!!

THANK YOU so much for posting this! It’s nice to have some solid info on how this works :)

Thanks for the info!!!

We love you

Pepperdine has been my daughters DREAM SCHOOL for as long as I can remember. I think I’ll be pacing the floors until then… 45 more hours! WHOOHOO! Good luck everyone :)

When you put things in terms of hours, it makes it not seem as long. Is it sad I’m putting a 45 hour timer on my phone? Just a little :)

Thanks for the heads up :)

Yes, it’s true. Last year my son received an email around 1:00 PST from Pepperdine. I can say for certain that it was quite the relief.
