<p>Do teacher recommendations get mailed to the admissions office of each college or just the college?</p>
<p>If teachers fill out recommendations for rd schools around now do they get sent out now, stored with guidance, or kept with me?</p>
<p>The answer to your 2nd question I can only answer in response to my own school. They are NEVER kept with you, but at my school the guidance department stores them; teachers do not mail them themselves. I'm pretty sure they get mailed to the admissions office. :)</p>
<p>The application should provide you with a specific address of where to send them. Sometimes this address is right on the rec. form and sometimes its in the instructions.
As for the second question, i guess it would depend on the college. I'm sure your teachers have experience writing rec so they'd be able to tell you what happens to them. At my school I believe the teacher sends them out so yes they would be stored until the admissions ppl look at them.</p>
