Some simple questions about Sat 2's

I got my scores back:

Math 2: 770
US H: 750
Lit: 670

Well I didn’t know until AFTER I had taken these that most colleges only need 2 SATII’s… is it possible to only send my best 2 or do you have to send all 3? (I took them all in one sitting)

Anyone have a link to percentiles/distributions for SAT II’s? I was satisfied with these scores UNTIL I started reading around here and learned that the scores are not like the SAT I’s, and that even my 770 is fairly average here… So if I do have to send all 3 scores, should I retake lit? If I do, would only the better score be sent? I did not study for it, and as a reference my SAT I was 2330.

Thanks

Okay I find the %'s http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/SubjTestPercentileRanks.pdf

And wow my percentiles blow compared to my SAT I precentiles
84%, 89%, 73%

Truth is I didnt study for SAT I or SAT II's, but are the discrepancies in scores going to look suspicious?

If you are applying to colleges that need 3 tests, retake lit. If not, colleges will only consider your top 2 scores, you have to send all 3, but they wont count your 3rd.
Dont worry about percents..colleges dont look at them.

Yeah I looked it up and the only colleges that require 3 are harvard, princeton, and georgetown

Not going to apply to those

But you said they "wont count your 3rd"

But technically most schools dont even count the writing portion of the SAT's, but we all know that they have to carry some weight

So do they "not count" only in an official sense or do they "not count" as in colleges will not even look at them?

I'm going to be applying to schools like upenn, cornell... so yeah

they disregard them competely..pretty sure its different from the sat writing

Thanks that makes me feel better, don't have to waste another Saturday

If I could get a second opinion, I'll go to sleep happy :)

bump (OMFG NOW I KNOW WHAT 10CHARS MEANS)

well, how can they disregard it completely? as long as they can see it, who knows what they do with it. but ee3ee, your 670 isnt too bad, so don't worry about it.

Remember that only people who think they can do well in that subject take that subject test, which is why the percentiles are skewed.

I'll give an example: my 2100 on the SAT puts me in the 97th percentile nationally. However, it only puts me in about the 8th percentile on CC...

I guess i cant say that for sure, but when they say that they only at two scores, I'm assuming they just look at the top 2..why would they need the 3rd?
