Some Suggestions Needed

Thanks for looking into this thread.

I am looking for some good colleges with good economics/bio/journalism/CS (esp. in AI field)/ programs. Though I am currently quite undecided in terms of major, I am particularly interested in the fields listed.
Schools with Gothic architecture style (I know it's weird...), big/metropolitan city set, or an intensive undergrad program would be highly favorable.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

U Washington would be worth looking into. Possibly Northwestern, U Penn, or U Chicago, although I'm not sure if their architecture matches up with what you want. Carnegie Mellon might be a good fit.

Duke University?

Penn, Duke, Chicago, NU, CMU...?

I immediately thought Duke when I read your post. Maybe Yale.

i kno cornell has a good architecture school...

City set is also important too... I don't wanna be in the middle of nowhere...
UChic and NWU are already in consideration.
UWashington is really a great rec. Thanks.
CMU is not Gothic but it is in a good city...

And laxgirl07... I am not looking for an architecture school. =P

BLY...I really think Duke fits. As far as the city, the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, also known as the Research Triangle, is a fast-growing area of about 1.5 million people. Yet, Duke also owns 8,000 acres of forest, so if you ever wanted to escape the city, you could just venture into the Duke Forest. And West Campus is completely Gothic.

I've been to Duke, and it's not for me, but it's heaven to a lot of students. The academics are top-notch. The best way to know if you will like it is if you visit.

Disclaimer: Durham is NOT a college town. For the college town atmosphere, go to Chapel Hill.
