Some Suggestions

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some suggestions for school that I would have a reasonable bet to transfer into.

Currently I am a first semester sophmore at a small relatively selective (about a 50% acceptence rate) liberal arts college in the mid-atlantic. Some things have made me not as happy here as I originally thought I would be and I am now looking to transfer.

My gpa is a little low after freshman year about 2.7, and at the midterm this semester my gpa is rising with 2 A's and 2'Bs in pretty difficult courses. I am also pretty involved in various committees at the college such as academic integrity and intercollegiate athletic boards. I am a member of a varsity sports team here and I have had many community service activities along with an internship in US Congress.

In high school i finished with a 3.4 gpa at a good public high school and i had a 1240 on the old sat. I took 4 ap classes and have credit for 2 of them.

So my cry for help is what colleges would I have a decent chance of being accepted as a transfer even with my relatively low college gpa? I am not too picky about a big or small school, i just would like to go somewhere with a good academic repuation.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprechiated

thanks

also i am a politics major and i would like to transfer for the spring semester
