Do you guys have some more websites like that?

Thanks

I would suggust college confidential. its www.collegeconfidential.com and they have a great transfer messageboard where you can ask questions and talk to other students. You should really check it out

Grrrrrr....you stole my line homie

^Haha! I was about to write about www.collegeconfidential.com too!

Um, I hate to state the obvious.....but that's not at all what he meant. He's already at this website and has started several threads. lol

Anyway, AvonT; you need to pick up two publications at your city college called Answers for Transfers and Introducing the University (for more information regarding the UC's, with Ivys, check with their admissions sites, they are usually the first and only place to gather info). Both can be found at your school's transfer center, or other aptly named department. Futhermore, take everything you hear on collegeconfidential very lightly, any misinformation that you act can have severe consequences.

I understand that you'd like to look into UCLA and Berkeley and before I got into both schools, I just kept reading each school's website to familiarize myself with their admission procedures and policies.

More than anything, be sure that you understand your major's requirements and that you are willing to put in the work. I cannot tell you just how much the quantity of work is required between say...UCLA, Berkely, Stanford or Penn, for instance....

How is collegeconfidential in any way like....."assist.org"?

Heck, 90% of success in school is understanding what is being address and what is required.lol

Thanks

hmm. i wasn't trying to be a jackass
