<p>I think my training has paid off on the writing section, but I can't seem to figure these out.</p>

<p><a href="1">b</a>** Both her work on community service projects and her dedication to learning has gained Ms. Stevens the respect of the entire faculty. No error</p>

<p>I won't tell you answer, please figure it out and tell me why for realism. (I do have some ideas of why though).</p>

<p><a href="2">b</a>** A volunteer organization, the Covington Soup Kitchen has been feeding needy families since 1977, annually distributing nearly a million pounds of food each year. No error</p>

<p>Question One: It should be “have gained.” The subject is plural.</p>

<p>Question Two: “each year” is redundant because “annually” is already modifying “distributing.”</p>
