What is your state?

What do you want to major in?

As a female URM, you have a pretty good chance based on your excellent academics and test scores. almost certain at Rice (unless you are applying to be a music major in which case the auditions will determine your fate more than anything else) and Duke. You are probably in at some Ivies, just can’t say which ones.

I am from Texas. I plan to major in biology and maybe minor in music.

Black Female with 2300 SAT/Val? That’s almost a shoe-in for duke/rice/some of the ivies

i see val, music, scores, and ethnicity advantages. i’d say no problem for the lower ivies!

■■■■■. Haha

I’m not a ■■■■■.

In at every single ivy considering you are URM and super academic credentials. good job!

You have very good chances at all Ivies and top-tier schools considering that you have about 258853 hooks. Good luck!

bump10char

bump again

lol do you really need more opinions? Being black is a gigantic advantage and you have good academic stats. What else do you need to know?

you should be in everywhere

the only thing that doesn’t stand out is your EC’s, everything looks really really good. just curious, how “not highly rated” would you say your high school is?

o-o as a urm that’s a val and with that sat score, i’d say in for everywhere o-o

good luck :D

You are virtually guaranteed admission to Duke, Rice, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth and the other (relatively) less selective ivies given your URM status and strong credentials. Chances are very good at some of the others, and I would peg HYP at around 50% each, meaning a probable acceptance at at least one.

I think you’re definitely in at Rice an Duke. For the ivies, I guess it depends on my many applications they each get from musical African American women this year.
