Somebody give me an idea please!

I'm currently finishing up my junior year of high school, and I'm looking at several SUNY Schools. Albany has really peaked my interest, but i don't really know if i can get accepted. Off the top of my head, here are some of my basic credentials:

-86/87ish average, ranked 170 out of 415+ (don't know actual number).
-1130 on my sats (570 reading,560 Math), taking them again soon.
-24 on act, also taking again soon.
-So far, 40ish hours of community service for American Red Cross, Volunteering at a sleep away camp for the entire upcoming summer.
-CYO Basketball, since 7th grade through High School.
-Have a Spanish regents credit as well as a Hebrew regents credit (i always thought the two language thing could help me out)
-Starting a part time job in the fall before my senior year starts.

If you can help me out in any way, by saying that i should be accepted, pointing me to another specific school, or any constructive criticism, it would sure help me out a ton. Thank You!

Your at the lower end of the middle 50% on SAT and ACT, and just missed it on GPA. This would certainly indicate that you have a chance. Increase your entrance exam scores and you’ll increase your chances. Very doable.

Good luck!
