Somebody help me?

Hello everybody, I am now a Queensboro community college student.I am a freshman 2010 fall semester and i just finished my first semester. Thank god, I got pretty good grades, 4.0 GPA. I really want to transfer to Stony Brook after I achieve 24 credits. I am now major in engineering science. I know I need to get at least 3.0 GPA and 24+ credits. But my situation is that I didnt take any SAT or ACT tests. Because I finished my highschool in another country.I just took ACT placement tests when i got into queensboro and i passed it. I am sooooo worry about that. Because I've checked on the website that they need your SAT or ACT scores.... What should I do? Anybody had the same situation before like me? Please help me.....

Why don’t you register for the SAT and the ACT tests and take them? Register online and choose the most convenient location for you to take them.

nysmile- thank you. This is a good idea. But im still trying to find out another way to get into the school which doesnt need to take the tests. cuz, once you decide to take them, you need to prepare for them to get good scores. That really takes time. And im already in community college, i have my own classes and i have a job after work. thats really too much for me…

Once you’ve completed 24 credits, then we don’t look at SAT/ACT scores; if you don’t have any standardized testing, then completing 24 credits is really your only option. Best wishes in the application process!

Chris- Thank you. R u working in Stony Brook? Tell me more about that please…what do you mean my only option?

I mean your “only option” would be to complete 24 credits before applying; if you don’t have 24 credits, we need to look at standardized tests. So if you don’t have them, then 24 credits is what you’d need.
