<p>Hello. I’m a rising senior in state and I have really wanted to go to UNC since second grade. I have a 3.7 GPA unweighted and 4.6 weighted. 30/570 I believe. My school is very competitive. This year I took Honors pre-calc, AP English, AP US, Honors Marketing, AP Psych, and Honors Spanish 4 and made straight A’s. Next year I plan to take Calc, AP Stat, AP Bio, Spanish 5, and AP Literature.</p>

<p>I participated in Project Uplift, NC State’s STEP College of Textile’s Program, and NC State’s Scibls.</p>

<p>I’m also an officer of my schools Habitat for Humanity Chapter and Key Club. I am also in DECA (made it to national competition), NSHS, NTHS (hopefully I’ll become an officer next year), and NHS. I am also on the Mayor’s Board of Teen Ambassadors for my town.
I don’t remember my exact SAT scores right now but I know it was somewhere around a 2000.</p>

<p>Someone please answer! Any input is appreciated!</p>

<p>I think you have a solid chance if you are an NC resident. Otherwise it would be a solid reach, bordering on the line of of a 50/50 acceptance, in my opinion. Not sure what major you’re planning on going in, but colleges always love when a student has a lot of drive and passion towards that major. So if you could convey that in your essay, then I think you’re good! :slight_smile: best of luck!</p>

<p>Thanks! I have been trying to participate in DECA a lot and take businesses classes to show that I have a strong interest in the business field.</p>

<p>Definitely have a good chance, your SATs may be a bit low to give you fin aid, but you’re definitely in because of ECs and grades! </p>

<p>Note:
In freshman and sophomore year combined I made made 9 A’s and 5 B’s. I made a C in AP Human Geography (my teacher was extremely difficult) and that worries me the most.</p>
