Princeton University officials have announced
plans to enlarge enrollment of undergraduates beginning in 2006
, marking the university's first major student body increase since it first admitted women in 1969.
Over the next four years, Princeton will admit an additional 125 students each year,
reaching a goal of 500 more students by 2006

For an Ivy league staff writer, this guy sure doesn't write very clearly. Does anyone know if they will, as he first says, begin this program in 06, or, as he says in the next paragraph, will have it completed by 2006?

Making sense just isn't his strong suit =/ If anyone can clear that up it would be much obliged.

actually, no (though it doesn't hurt that Princeton's got a ton more posts than H&Y :) )..I added that last part after I looked at the article and it looks stupid to keep editing posts...what's to be gained with a large post count, anyway?

lol on the "he's from yale" comment =) although Yale's my second choice...
anyway, yea I think they mean that they are increasing starting 2006 because they don't have anywhere to put new people now (they're still building the new dorm). So hmm, that doesn't help us does it?

Thanks, zantedeschia, really good....w/ calc you never know for sure, but I don't think I missed anything...amazing, since I didn't study and haven't been doing much of the homework (optional in college, yay). But I did pretty poorly on a physics test last week so I guess I was due a good one :)

What are y'all studying now? We just started derivatives and I'd like to pull what little hair I have out :-) Wooosaaaah! WOOOOOSAAAAHHH! Wait, that was off topic. Continuez!

Ahh yes....derivatives...I'm in a university class (b/c I'm technically homeschooled), so it's on a blistering semester pace. We're starting integrals soon, I think. The test tonight was on dirivatives.

Man, I hate physics with a passion. The homework we do is online and it's made for a different textbook so it never has anything to do with the one we're actually using ....ughh....

lol thanks for asking. I thought it went ok, one of those nervewracking tests where you get everything in the last five minutes and then just barely finishes it but hopes that everything is right. I'm glad it's over =)
