<p>uhh most cameras should be able to hook up to your computer... it's usually just a cable that runs from the camera to your computer</p>

<p>I definitely recommend MiniDV. If you want to do editing, the easiest way is to buy a mac (then you just plug the camera into the computer using a firewire cable and open up iMovie/iDVD). I'm not sure about the process for PC, although you're probably going to have to buy a firewire card and some editing software.</p>
<p>I second the mividv. Macs are good for editing because of Imovie/iDVD and do have the firewire. For PCs, its windows movie maker and a firewire card. Or you could be really pricy and but vegas or final cut pro. hehe.</p>
