On the “The Official Musical Theatre Class of 2014!” group on Facebook there is a report of a “congratulations” email. Anyone else have news? No email here. :(

Yeah, I saw that, and I think it might just be academic. I don’t think they typically send out emails. You may get something on your online application status early, but letters are supposed to go out before March 20th.

Well, I lied- she got her letter today. But I got the same email last night, I think, and didn’t get anything today. So… who knows.

Alexa did you get a congratulations email from BW? That is fantastic!

They are different. Her’s came from her admission status, mine just came in email talking about “seeing me on campus in the fall”. Neither of them mention MT, but she got in and I haven’t heard anything. It’s all so confusing.

Ok. Right we got the same email as you did yesterday about being on campus in the fall but no news on MT. Our status hasn’t changed.
Good Luck!!

We got the same e-mail that started with “You’re in!” I e-mailed the admissions office and ask if this was academic or MT. They replied it was academic and they were sorry for the confusion. Don’t know if that will help you understand your e-mail.

No email here, so that is discouraging. Still keeping my chin up, but this confusion makes it harder to wait. I know when my sister was applying to colleges she got an email that “gave away her acceptance” to a specific program that the “official” acceptance came for about a week later. Good luck everyone!

I got a rejection letter today. Kind of very bummed. A friend of mine was accepted yesterday. I’m not sure what that means for everyone but these letters probably come in waves without much pattern to them…

Anyways, best of luck to everyone!

MT - Hope I am sorry that you got that news. This rejection stuff is not fun at all. I am sure that everything will work out for you. Do you mind me asking whether you live near or far from BW? I’m trying to stay positive but since I didn’t get an email I am trying to prepare myself to be bummed too.

ilovetheatre-

I didn’t receive an email either. But on facebook, I asked if I should be worried and a current student said “Not at all Megan, a lot of ppl in my year didn’t receive an email, but were accepted into the conservatory and the music theatre program when they got their letters.”

So there is still hope for us! It’s a little odd the way this is going, but looks like it doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

Hi!

Yeah its not very fun. But oh well, life survives!

I live on the East side of Cleveland in Geauga County. That is about an hour or so drive from BW (by freeway). I think i mentioned earlier but a friend of mine was accepted yesterday. She lives about 25-30 minutes west of me, in Willoughby. She got hers yesterday, mine today. Hope that helps!

Thanks Hopeful! Nothing in the mail today. I live really far away though.

Anyone hear anyhting today? Still waiting for mail or email!!!

So… still waiting and no change on the status. Anyone else???

I never got an email, and they ended up sending the letter to the wrong address. I would call and check with the conservatory admissions.
