<p>Actually, it's very relevant. After all, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and I would prevent the situation from arising. By your logic, I could say that your mention that the my logic (which wasn't really my logic; it was yournamehere's, and I don't follow it either) was wrong is irrelevant and therefore that your logic is wrong, as it is an ad hominem attack on my logic and doesn't help to prove your point. Then you could say my logic is wrong.</p>

<p>if your sole reason for working harder was to get into a certain school and you get rejected, then yes, you wasted your time.</p>

<p>But if you were working harder to be your best, then its impossible for your time to be wasted.</p>

<p>well...did you learn anything in those classes? even if you don't get into ivy league, you would have learned something. this means that you get to take even more advanced classes once you get to college, or if you have to retake those classes, they will be a lot easier.</p>
