Ok, so I've read many threads regarding chances and also college board profiles. I just would like to know what do you guys think MIT, Wash U, and UPenn look for in students. Based on the responses is threads, there is not really a definitive answer... I would really appreciate it if you could just maybe hypothesize the criteria that they each use. Thank you thank you so much.

hmmmmmmm maybe .........u can ask THEM lol
ahem i dont know and im sure most of us in here dont know for sure, even if we do "know" its just a guess
but the common sense answer theyd likely give u is "we look for well-rounded students and we cannot access a student's chances of admittance until we receive the application" lol

OK.
Aside from affirmative action students, really good grades, good board scores, and ECs.

Talent and Dedication.

If you are REALLY good at something and your ECs combine with your interest than you will get in. Its that simple. If a guy says hes interested in pre-med and he interns at a hospital, does summer bio-med research at a university, and won a big science affair award in the field then that is really special.

Stuff like that. So if you like international relations, participate in MUN, do debate, and maybe get an internship at your state's legislation or make a hobby of sending letters to congressman or something. W/E You know what I'm getting at.
