I get a “Something has gone wrong”, “Overcapacity”, “Down for Maintenance” or automatic log out about once every three pages, not to mention the severe lag in loading pages, lag in posting, and dysfunctional notifications. And this has been going on for about two weeks now, though it’s significantly worse now.
Didn’t CC change vendors at some point to prevent these exact issues?

I haven’t had any problems prior to this afternoon. Now the site is almost unusable. I am not on the last page of comments but I’m not even going to try to go there because I will just get signed out. Now… let’s see if this post works…

This site has totally sucked lately. I’ve had the issue with the slow typing. Pages constantly time out. Etc, etc ONLY on this site.
Interesting, either a comment I posted here was deleted, or it has disappeared due to more errors.
It disappeared along with my double post that it was referring to.
That was me - I deleted the double post, so irlandaise’s post didn’t make sense and I got rid of it, also.
Gotcha, didn’t know if that was just another glitch or what. For what it’s worth, I seem to be having less issues today with the site.
The primary push was due to the old platform developing gaping security holes which led to multiple hacking incidents. The intention was not to trade security issues for performance issues, that’s for sure. It’s been disappointing and frustrating to say the least.
Was doing well, now getting logged out again.
I hesitate to say this…but things have been working OK this evening…just a couple of log outs.
What did they need to fix?
We’re aware of loading issues and error pages, and are working to resolve this. Our apologies once again

I’ve been impressed at how well everything has been working. A few dead spots but they were limited in number and length. Kudos!
Good to hear, @doschicos. Several of us were monitoring the performance and in contact with the site vendor. We were hoping for no issues whatsoever, but seems to be better overall than last year. Thanks for the note!
