OK, I've comMITted.

something interesting I saw during CPW was that the floor in one of the dorms I toured had a plastic box one fourth filled with condoms.

Is that for leisure use? if they are refilled every month, CPW = April 8-11 my thought went "where did those three fourths go?"

I'm excited about MIT more now!

Oh hey, I saw that too. I don’t think it’s anything to be particularly excited about, though. As was discussed in an earlier thread, sex happens a lot at colleges, including MIT, but apparently not as much among science nerds. :

^ MIT Medical offers free condom tubs. Many Medlinks, myself included, go put condom tubs in restrooms whenever we see them running low, though anyone can do this :)

No one is going to force you to have premaritial sex if you don’t want to…but people will probably be upset if you judge them for having premaritial sex themselves.

This applies to pretty much everything at MIT, honestly, and I think it’s a good life lesson to learn. You are, of course, in control of your own health and well-being, and your moral choices are yours to make. But, if someone isn’t putting their life in danger, is it really your place to judge them for what you perceive as being morally wrong? We all should be allowed to make decisions about our own lives.

That being said, a lot of condoms were probably also used for water balloons.
