It may seem like I am just whining, but I got a 2 on AP World and I find it absolutely ridiculous. I don’t find it ridiculous as a score, but there is no way that I could have gotten worse than a 4, let alone a 3. I do not know what to do. This is outrageous. I took the AP course all year with low 90s and never got a single practice exam or essay with a score worth lower than a 4. Then I took the exam and got excited because I thought I may have even gotten a 5. Come to find out, I get a 2 and I am freaking out. This is not simply me having a bad day. Something went wrong and I know it. I don’t know what to do. I take standardized tests fantastically as I have never gotten below a 91 on any. I’m sorry for the rant, but I am losing it right now.

That exam was hard. I didn’t take it, but a lot of students underestimated that test. Maybe you thought you were the smartest kid your AP World class and thought that was easy, but class rigor and the exam difficulty are two separate things.

I don’t think you understand. I took actual practice multiple choice questions which alone would have given me a 2.

^ Then maybe your free response questions were lost. Ask for a rescore or ask for your FRQ booklet.

^How do I do that?

That test was not easy, especially the essays. Maybe you messed up somewhere.

I didn’t take AP World, but it does sound like you may have been overconfident. Or maybe you messed up while filling in the bubbles? or maybe your AP World class wasn’t as hard as it should have been? Who knows. BUT. AP scores don’t matter anyway so no need to fret

I think you have to send a mail request to College Board for free response booklets and or rescoring services. I’m not 100% sure though. Just check College Board’s website.
