<p>Hi. I'm a sophmore in High School. I didn't do very very well this past year. I ended up with a 3.3 gpa UW for sophmore year(my freshman gpa was around 3)</p>
<p>Do you think if I do very well next year like a 3.7gpa with lots of APs and 2000 or so on the SAT, i can still get into a decent collge?</p>
<p>Well, I’m about to become a sophomore in high school and lemme tell you something–You want your cumulative GPA to be nothing below 3.5. I think yours is between 3.1 and 3.25 (I’m not fabulous at math, but I get by). If you want to get into a good college, you need to stop looking at JUST your grades and focus on things like co-curriculars and extra-curriculars as well. The amount of community service you do and the amount of clubs you’re in is an important factor in determining who you are as an individual and helping application reviewers discover what you’re most interested in.</p>
<p>There’s always U Toronto if you can afford it, should your ECs not amount to anything.</p>
