Son does not want to take calculus

I'm going to be a senior in high school myself in just a few days. I'm very good at math, but I've decided not to take AP Calculus my senior year. I already have 4 credits of math because I took two courses my sophomore year. These courses are all honors. My whole high school career I have killed myself by taking all APs or all honors since freshmen year. I want to major in theatre and french in college and I don't see the point in taking AP calculus (even though I would most likely get a good grade) when I could be taking another acting class instead to help me with my college auditions. I plan on applying to 3 Ivy's (yale columbia and cornell) and I'm also applying to tough schools like Brandeis, NYU, and BU. I don't think it's necessary to take calculus, if it's not going to help you. Sure, colleges are amazed by it, but I'm sure they'll be more interested in my acting talent.

ItalianLax which of those schools have a theater major?

All of those schools offer theatre as a major. Yale is a little complicated though. NYU probably has the best theatre program at the Tisch school of the arts. Other really good schools that have great theatre program include: DePaul University, Pace University, Adelphi University, Fordham University, Emerson College, UCONN. Schools that aren't very hard to get into but also have a good theatre programs are: Bridgewater State, UMASS Amherst, Arizona State, Elon College, Salem State (in Mass).

Hope that helps :)
