<p>My son will be going to college.Both my husband and I are disabled.I would like to know
if their any kind of assistance we can get for our son?</p>

<p>Donna145, you should post your question in the Financial Aid forum. Include what school or state (if you know) he’ll be attending (or is interested in attending). Much of your son’s financial aid will be based on his parent’s economic situation. If your disability limits your income, he’ll be eligible for increased financial aid (and grants).</p>

<p>Some groups/schools offer scholarships for kids who have disabled parents. For example, the “Edmund Wells Memorial Scholarship-Disabled Parent” is available to a student enrolled full-time at OSU. First preference shall be given to students who are orphans and those who have one disabled parent. Financial need is a major consideration.</p>
