What's an Aggie?

Aggie=someone who goes to A&M

Several members of my family went to A&M. A significant portion of each graduating of my school goes to A&M. I've been to A&M several times. I think I have some idea of who goes there.

n/ - hook 'em horns ;) (I bleed orange; that could go for Princeton or any of the TX schools (UT) I'm applying to...well, except Rice)

so they just made that up? Aggie? it doesn't stand for something? it doesn't look like a furry animal?

Aggie comes from Ag(riculture), which is part of A&M's name. (Texas Agricultural & Mechanical University, but A&M sounds a lot better, hehe)

Actually, S received two large envelopes today - the fat Priority Mail one and one from Texas A&M

i'm sorry if i offended you valdez. making aggie jokes is second nature to me, and i often do it without thinking.

I too always get the white envelopes from A&M. Always for national merit or some other scholarship they are offering. You'd think after the first 5, they'd stop, but they haven't.

The only thing I know about A&M is that at some time in the recent past, many students were killed in a bonfire disaster.
