<p>So I'm filling out my UC application and under the scholarship part, where it asks you to check off any random things that apply to you, would I be able to check:</p>

<li>Son of a widow
or</li>
<li>Raised by single mother</li>
</ol>

<p>Background: My dad died of pancreatic cancer when I was 3 months old. My mom remarried when I was 7 years old. Since then my new dad has supported us. </p>
