Which songs make you just tear up?

hallelujah - jeff buckley, don't wanna miss a thing - aerosmith, tears in heaven - clapton are some that come to mind for me.

what about you?

Music does not move me to the point of tears. I make music cry.

^■■■■■, so you.

“Strange New Clothes” - James Horner (It’s from the Boy in the Striped Pajamas soundtrack. It’s the song that plays at the end, if you’ve seen it. :()
When I hear it, I start to think about that scene, and I start to tear up. Lol. Same thing with “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic. :p

Actual moments when I have cried at a song:

When I heard Knee Play 5 from Einstein on the Beach for the first time
and “Idea Track” by Idlewild, but I was super stressed out about the fact that the next day I’d wouldn’t be living in Maine anymore for the first time

I also almost wept at “Titan’s Goblet” by Thomas Cole for some reason, as well as The Resurrection from the Isenheim Altarpiece, although I’ve seen neither in real life haha

I try to be sentimental. It makes my poetry less terrible

i think Your Guardian Angel was really close to doing it for me

and Tong Hua, especially the youtube video with the translations (or the music video for it …)

And Taeyang wedding dress was pretty intense too

Eminem- Like Toy Soldiers.

Not really. I just like it.

That song probably makes me look introspectively the most.

Can you tell me what it’s actually about MIT?

Well… considering Eminem’s past, his D12 group, his black brother Proof, his disputes with rappers, his pledge to never mention Suge Knight in respect to Dr. Dre, he and 50 being on a battlefield in a metaphorical sense, you can determine that he’s grown tired of the modern stigma of rap feuds concentrated on diss tracks. Sick of people getting *ed over petty *. Wants to go back to when rapping was about rapping, enjoying the profession.

I cried when I heard When I’m Gone - Eminem. :)

It seems Eminem songs can evoke an emotional response.

Forever My Father by Go Radio. It’s especially sad because it’s sung by two brothers and their sister whose father passed away :'(

Also Tears in Heaven by Clapton. Hurt by Johnny Cash. I Like That by Luciana, just for its SHEER HORRIBLENESS. Seriously, why would someone write such a plain idiotic song is beyond me lol. Whenever it comes on the radio I feel like throwing something and quickly change the station…

Cry by Mandy Moore

HAHA MIThopeful16- “Music does not move me to the point of tears. I make music cry.”

Movies have more of an effect on me than music.

^[If you are a guy.](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/995874-males-exclusively-last-film-caused-you-weep.html)

@pug- I listened to that last night. It was one of the first times that song didn’t make me cry.

Beautiful by Eminem (especially when coupled with the music video) makes me cry because I’m from Detroit land.

There’s a few songs that make me cry… I just can’t think of them right now :(.

Idk, songs never make me cry, only movies. But then maybe the songs in the movies are what make me cry O.o

Eminem’s Like Toy Soldiers. Represent the D romani!

also for some weird reason, since im a senior, everytime i hear Graduation song by vitamin C makes me really sad I don’t cry at songs though; they just evoke an emotional response in me!

From The Inside Out- Hillsong United
